Born from the encounter between Franco-Syrian singer Climène Zarkan and guitarist Baptiste Ferrandis, Sarāb, meaning “mirage” in Arabic, masterfully blends rock with Middle Eastern sounds. Since 2018, with over a hundred concerts across Europe and around the Mediterranean, Sarāb has evolved and reinvented its musical universe. After Qawalebese Tape, a filmed EP born from a creative dive into ancient traditions infused with contemporary influences, the band is now preparing to release a new album, “Mīt Warde – A Hundred Roses”, on February 6, 2026. A poetic and electric outcry where maqām, UK rock, and analog synths intertwine.
