    1. When and where will Visa For Music be held?

    The 12th edition of Visa For Music will be held from November 19 to 22, 2025 in Rabat, Morocco at several venues in the city center (Quartier Hassan).

    Please note that accreditation requests will remain open until October 31, 2025.

    Once your accreditation is confirmed, you will receive by email an individual and nominative badge with a QR Code.
    This badge must be printed and presented at the accreditation desk located on the esplanade of the Mohammed V National Theatre.

    On site, you will receive your wristband and badge holder, both required to access the various festival activities.

    The accreditation desk will be open from Wednesday, November 19 to Saturday, November 22, 2025, from 9:00 am to 8:00 pm.

    4. I am a festival-goer: When and where can I buy tickets for the VFM 25 showcases ?

    5. Are there discounted rates for accessing the VFM 25 showcases ?

    Visa For Music offers discounted tickets for students and holders of a Youth Pass.

    6. Are there free activities open to the public?

    Several events are free and open to the public, including :

    • outdoor entertainment every afternoon on the esplanade of Théâtre Mohammed V,
    • Forum activities (conferences, master classes and workshops), 
    • access to Expostand. 

    On the other hand, showcases on the official stages (Live Stage and Electro Stage) are :

    • free for accredited professionals and media, on presentation of their badge, 
    • paying tickets for the general public, via the online ticketing service (subject to availability).

    7. Can I participate in the festival as a volunteer?

    Each year, Visa For Music welcomes volunteers to strengthen its teams (reception, logistics, production, etc.) and to provide a unique experience for young people.

    8. Is it possible to set up a stand or exhibit during the festival?

    The Expostand professional exhibition is reserved for institutions, cultural organizations, festivals, brands, and media related to the music sector.

    9. Who is on the jury for VFM 2025?

    The VFM 2025 Jury is composed of:

    • Dorine Rurashitse – Director of Africalia (Belgium)
    • Fayrouz Karawya – Multidisciplinary artist and researcher (Egypt)
    • Samer Jaradat – Music entrepreneur and curator (Palestine)
    • Seabelo Modibe – Cultural entrepreneur (Botswana)
    • Mehdi Sli – Sound engineer, producer, and artistic director (France/Morocco)

    10. Where can I book a hotel in Rabat close to the festival venues?

    11. How can I get around Rabat?

    Rabat is a city with excellent transportation options. The VFM team shares some tips to move around easily:

    • Tramway: emblematic of Rabat for its modernity and convenience. The two lines (L1 and L2) cover the Rabat-Salé area and connect the main hubs. Price: 7 MAD.

    • Taxis:
      • Blue taxis (“private taxis”): can take up to 3 passengers, available citywide. Prices are set by the meter based on distance.

      • White taxis (“shared taxis”): can take up to 6 passengers, inexpensive option. Standard fare is 6 MAD, though you should check stations for your desired destination.

    Bus network: operated by Alsa City-Bus, covering Rabat and surrounding areas with urban, regional, and intercity buses. Tickets cost 5 MAD, can be purchased directly from the driver, and buses generally run from 6:00 am to midnight.

    12. Who organizes Visa For Music?

    Visa For Music is produced and managed by the cultural engineering agency Anya Culture, in partnership with the cultural association Atlas Azawan.

    The event is supported by the Ministry of Youth, Culture and Communication, the Hiba Foundation, the Moroccan Copyright Office (BMDA), and the Regional Council of Rabat-Salé-Kénitra.

      Once your accreditation is confirmed, you will receive by email an individual, nominative badge with a QR Code.

      1. Organize your trip and accommodations

      We offer accommodation recommendations, as well as travel tips for getting to our destination and all VFM 25 venues, along with other useful information. Check our FAQ page for more details.

      1. Different scenarios for obtaining a visa

      If you are a national of one of the 72 exempted countries, you do not need a visa for a stay of up to 90 days. A valid passport is still required.

      AFCON 2025 Update: Starting September 25, 2025, nationals of certain countries (Algeria, Burkina Faso, Cape Verde, Gabon, Niger, Senegal, Togo, and Tunisia) must obtain an Electronic Travel Authorization (e-visa) via the official portal www.acces-maroc.ma.

      If you are not from one of the exempted countries, please follow the procedure indicated on the Visa For Music website.

      1. Coming to Rabat

      To get to Rabat, you can either land at Rabat-Salé Airport or Casablanca Airport.

      If you arrive at Rabat-Salé Airport, taxis are waiting outside the airport to take you to Rabat (20 minutes of travel, 200 MAD).

      If you arrive at Casablanca Airport, you can choose to take the train (https://www.oncf-voyages.ma/) or take a taxi (1 hour and 30 minutes of travel, 700 MAD).

      1. Prepare for VFM

      Here’s a non-exhaustive list of things to bring to VFM to fully enjoy the festival !

      • Prepare your ID card or passport: to get accredited and move around the festival with ease.
      • Plan the events you wish to attend and locate the different venues: Visa For Music consists of numerous activities, and it’s important to have a roadmap in mind to navigate through the festival. Check the program, and if you’re missing any information, don’t hesitate to contact us at this address : info@anya.africa.

      Prepare your business cards: At Visa For Music, you will be in contact with many music professionals, who may represent opportunities not to be missed. This is the essence of the professional market at VFM: to develop your networking and realize your projects. So, be prepared and bring your business cards, just in case !
