Visa for music, 2019, Hamza El fadly, Maroc


Formerly known as Meezo, Hamza El Fadly is a young Moroccan artist from Marrakech, passionate about music from the 80s and 90s, who has worked on his voice to make it a real musical instrument.

Having spent a period of his life in France before moving to Morocco, Hamza El Fadly had the opportunity to share several collaborations with different French producers such as Hellektrik, Antoinne Clamaran, Laurent Pautrat, Jeremy De Koste,…), and was able to perform on several Parisian stages such as Bizz’Art, the New Morning or Le Réservoir.

His cover of Younes Megri’s classic Moroccan song “Ya Mraya” gave him a nomination at the All Africa Music Awards, which he eventually won in the category “Best Artist in North Africa”.
