by The LAPS DE TEMPS project is, above all, the meeting of two artists from completely different musical worlds. Their first encounter took place in 2022 at the Visa For Music festival in Rabat. Stranger SOUMA, a globally recognized sound artist, works in electroacoustic music, while Samir AOUAD, a concert oud player, is a passionate advocate for acoustic music. In this unique project, the two artists merge their styles to create a contemporary, truly timeless soundscape, proudly celebrating and preserving Morocco’s musical heritage.
