by Founded in 2020 by cultural producer Charly Maïwan, Kin Orchestra is an all-female band from the Democratic Republic of Congo. First revealed at the FIMAD Festival in Dakar, the group captivates audiences with its vibrant universe and unique musical interpretations. Since its creation, Kin Orchestra has performed at numerous festivals and venues in Kinshasa. In 2023, the group played in Paris, and in April 2024, proudly represented the DRC at MASA in Abidjan.
