by Jamila & The Other Heroes is a Berlin-based band of diverse origins blending psychedelic desert rock with political engagement. Led by German-Palestinian singer Jamila Al-Yousef — born the day the Berlin Wall fell — the project draws on stories of struggle, diaspora and liberation. Singing in Arabic and English, they celebrate freedom and resilience with powerful instrumentation mixing Arab percussion, psych guitars and driving rhythms.
