by Founded in 2015 in Cotonou by seven young musicians, IFè Brass Band aims to preserve the rhythms and percussion at risk of disappearing in Benin. By fusing modern instruments (trumpets, trombones, saxophone, sousaphone) with traditional percussion and reconnecting with the historic heritage of Yoruba, Goun and Fon ritual songs, they create their own unique world. On stage and in the streets, IFè Brass Band invites audiences to discover ancestral, enchanting sounds infused with jazz harmonies.
