by The Bana Batéké orchestra began its journey on 12 September 2007 in Brazzaville, Congo. Often referred to as ‘traditional-modern music’, the orchestra’s pieces constitute a contemporary interpretation of the musical heritage of the Cuvette-Ouest. Named best tradi-modern group of the 4th edition of PRIMUSIC 2008 and vice-champion of the 1st edition of REVELATION 2010, the orchestra Bana Batéké puts Congo in the spotlight beyond national borders, in Japan, in 2016, and in Dubai in 2022.
