Director of Ebène Scene, Guy Marc Tony Mefe has been active in the field of performing arts for around twenty years. He has initiated and coordinated for two years the Escale Bantoo Program whose goal is to develop the presence of young music groups in Central Africa on the international scene.
Trainer, he runs training courses and workshops that have already benefited more than 300 young managers and cultural operators established in ten African countries. As a follow-up to these trainings, he has published three thematic guides, including:
– The Guide of the Manager of an artistic career in Africa (2003),
– The Guide to Copyright and Neighboring Rights (2005),
– The Guide for Theatrical and Choreographic Producers in Africa (2010).
Guy Marc Tony Mefe has been a member of the MASA International Art Committee since 2015, of the International Jury of the 8th Games of La Francophonie and since March Ambassador of Visa For Music, the International festival and professional market for African and Middle-Eastern musics ( Morocco).
