TootArd – Palestine

Is a “mountain rock reggae” band from the occupied Syrian Golan Heights. Their melodies move across the Saharan desert and into West Africa, embracing influences from around the world combined with optimistic and clever political lyrics.

Fayçal Azizi – Morocco

A musical melting pot between local and international sounds. An electronic record, resolutely alternative, but which keeps a foothold in Mediterranean music, particularly inspired by the traditional sounds of northern Morocco.

Rocky Dawuni – Ghana

International music star and humanitarian activist Rocky Dawuni straddles the boundaries between Africa, the Caribbean and the U.S. to create an appealing sound that unites generations and cultures with infectious grooves and dance-inducing anthems.

Inouraz – Morocco

Unique encounter between the Amazigh Berber music and various sounds from other territories. To traditional instruments of Moroccan music such as the ribab, loutar, l’guembri and the tamtam, Inouraz invites the Iranian daf, the African calbass and the Indian tabla.

Consider as the Durban’s Gqom king -a sub-genre of house- for his ability to use the sparsest production tools to create evocative and soulful electronic music. DJ Lag brings an innovative Gqom with a minimalist and bass-heavy sound.

Gangbé Brass Band -Benin

Considered as one of the most important hide orchestras in Africa and recognized for its quality and originality, Gangbé Brass Brand combines jazz and traditional Beninese music: Vodoun rhythms (Zinli, Ogbon) with songs in Yoruba, Mina, fon.

Shishani & the namibian tales – Namibia

Vocalist, songwriter and guitarist, Shishani combines the little known but rich tradition of her native Namibia with such western influences as soul and jazz. Thanks to unexpected harmonies and rhythms, the music of Shishani and the Namibian tales sounds contemporary and refreshing.

Mobydick – Morocco

Artist author and composer of rap, quite popular in Morocco as a lyricist. His particular style in the current Hip Hop scene is marked by raw lyrics and his ability to rapper both in Darija and French.

Marema – Senegal

Marema’s music mixes the traditional rhythms of Senegal with the melodies of blues, pop and rock. In Femme d’affaires, the rock guitar meets the Xalam, a popular string instrument from West Africa.

Ali Asghar Rahini – Iran

Iranian mystical music composer and vocalist, regarded as a Master Tanbour player. His own special strumming technique of playing this sacred instrument and his compositions, inspired by the mystical poets, are a magical experience of spiritual and Sufi music.

El Morabba3 – Jordanie

Known for their beautifully written lyrics that are at once poetic and socially engaged, El Morabba3’s post-rock sound features a rich instrumentation, including trumpets, keys and synth bass, with a delicate electronic layering,  that complete the band’s soundscape.

Farid Ghannam – Morocco

Born in Agadir in southern Morocco, Farid grew up in a family of musicians. With a Gnaoua reference, the music of Farid receives the rhythms of the pop and the sounds of the bass guitar and the Gambri.
